Who is On The Team?

The Wagners

Tim & Tonya both trusted Christ early in life and pursued schooling that would prepare them for a life of ministry. They met after Tim had completed his undergraduate degree in Religion and had begun his graduate work at Dallas Theological Seminary. Tim was on dean’s staff at Word of Life Bible Institute and Tonya was a student. After allowing Tim to chase her for almost a year, Tonya finally decided to become Tim’s partner in life and ministry and they were married in March of 1998.

While Tim finished his master’s degree, the Wagners lived in Dallas where Tim worked with several technology and human capital firms before joining the pastoral team at Watermark Community Church. Tonya worked for Watermark for several years before Tim joined the staff and she helped coordinate small groups, marriage ministry and Sunday morning worship. It was during this time of serving in ministry together that the Lord placed it on their hearts to pursue launching a new church. They pursued training and a network of support and before moving to LA, Tim and Tonya completed a 10 month church planting residency at Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. TIm is currently in a doctoral program at Talbot School of Theology and Biola University.

The Wagners have twin boys that arrived in September of 2006. They live near the Beverley Center where Tonya is an apartment manager. Tim oversees the vision of Paradox and serves as teaching pastor.
